A guided forest therapy walk with Maven’s Forge is a slow, intentional walk designed to help you step out of the rush of daily life and into a more present, connected state of being. Guided by the rhythms of the forest, we follow a gentle, sensory-based path rather than a trail of achievement.
The Flow of the Walk
Arrival & Welcome
We begin by gathering in a quiet space on the land. You’re invited to slow your breath, let your shoulders soften, and arrive fully in the present moment. This is where the outside world fades and our time together begins.
Invitations to Awaken Your Senses
Your guide will offer gentle invitations, simple doorways into a deeper relationship with the natural world. You might be invited to notice how light moves through the canopy, to follow the sound of water, or to find a place that calls to you. There’s no right or wrong way to experience this.
Rest & Reflection
Throughout the walk, there will be space to pause, wander, and listen to the land, to your body, and to whatever arises. Sharing circles offer a moment to speak (if you wish) or simply be witnessed in silence.
Tea Gathering
We close with a simple tea circle, a quiet honoring of the land and the time we’ve shared.
The forest has held us; now we offer a few final reflections before we part.
What to Expect
A slow walk through a natural space (no more than 1 mile)
Opportunities for stillness, reflection, and sensory connection
Time to step away from busyness and into the rhythm of nature
A safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space to simply be
This experience is for anyone, no outdoor expertise required. You bring your curiosity, and the forest does the rest.
