About Me

For nearly 15 years, I worked as a hairstylist in the film and television industry...

a world of sets, stories, long days, and lots of time spent under artificial lights. Eventually, I found myself being called back to something that had been there long before any of it: the forest.

Wild places have always felt like home to me. I grew up finding refuge beneath trees, wandering outside, and disappearing into stories that made the world feel a little more magical. Tolkien certainly had something to do with that. 🍃

Today, I’m a certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and the founder of Maven’s Forge. My work brings together the science and practice of forest therapy with something a little harder to name... the wonder, curiosity, and sense of aliveness that can return when we slow down enough to notice the world around us again.

I’m not here to tell anyone what they should find in the forest. I simply create opportunities to wander, notice, reconnect, and perhaps discover something for yourself along the way.

Sometimes we just need permission to become wanderers again.
