Every forest has its own personality.
Edward Baker Preserve is a place of tangled rhododendron, hidden mushrooms, soft moss, winding paths, and a creek that quietly weaves through the landscape. Rather than hiking to a destination, this experience is an opportunity to become acquainted with the place itself, to notice, wonder, and spend time in relationship with the landscape.
Together, we'll move at an unhurried pace along the trails, pausing from time to time for a series of gentle, open-ended invitations. There is nothing to perform, achieve, or get "right." Each invitation is simply an opportunity to explore the forest in your own way, allowing curiosity to guide your experience.
